Noreen Bent and Tara Masson are the first to secure their tickets to the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships next April. They were the lucky winners of four-packs to the event after completing the recent member survey.
Over 100 people completed the survey which will help Gymnastics BC with sponsorship and services that meet the needs of our members.
The 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships take place April 11-13 at the Richmond Oval. Nineteen countries from around the Pacific Ocean including China, Japan, the U.S. and Australia are expected to challenge the Canada for gold!

In just 11 months, Gymnastics BC will host the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships in Richmond, BC!
You could win tickets to this event, simply by completing this short survey. Two lucky individuals will each win a four-pack of tickets to the championships.
This survey will help us understand more about our members and your lives outside of the gym. This information will help us secure relevant sponsors to add value to the sport and to you as members.

Dear gymnasts and coaches,
I would like to welcome you to the wonderful world of running!
Two-time Olympian Kate Richardson invites all clubs to be part of the 2013 Scotiabank 5k Charity Challenge
The almost 20 years that I spent training in gymnastics gave me so many things. I have countless amazing memories and learned so many invaluable lessons – time management, commitment and the value of hard work, to name a few. One of the most important things that I learned from my gymnastics career, though, is how to protect my body, and how to keep it strong and healthy.
As gymnasts, we do some pretty amazing things with our bodies. In order to do so, we need to make sure that they are strong and ready for the challenges that we put upon them. During my gymnastics career, I found that running was a valuable addition to my training, and was a good way to help keep my body strong and fit. I also discovered that it was a lot of fun! I loved getting outside and challenging my body in a different way.
Staying strong and healthy is not only important for succeeding in gymnastics, however – it is a skill that we can take with us for the rest of our lives. So even though I am now retired and can’t flip like I used to, I am still running!
I invite you all to give it a try at the Scotiabank 5km run/walk on June 23. Enjoy getting outside, supporting each other as a team, and challenging yourselves in a new way!
