The 2012 Gymnastics BC Awards Reception takes place October 20, 2012 at the Hilton Vancouver Hotel near Metrotown in Burnaby, BC. This year’s celebration of gymnastics features new awards in the Gymnastics For All category – the PLAY Gymnastics BC Club of the Year and PLAY Gymnastics Coaches of the Year. As well, the GBC scholarship program has been expanded to include students who have been primarily involved in recreational gymnastics. Complete details

In preparation, Gymnastics BC is now accepting nominations for the following awards:

• Member of Distinction
• Volunteer of the Year
• Volunteer Team of the Year
• Gymnastics For All Leader of the Year
• PLAY Gymnastics BC Club of the Year
• PLAY Gymnastics Coaches of the Year
• Promotion Plus Emerging Gymnastics Leader of the Year

Nominations may be completed online or by downloading the nomination forms and submitting to Gymnastics BC. The deadline for nominations is August 10, 2012.

Gymnastics BC is also accepting applications for scholarships from both competitive and recreational athletes.  Four $500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students.
